About the Artist
Jamie is an acrylic artist residing out of colorful Colorado. She has been painting for over a decade but began her creative journey at a young age with drawing and sketching. Eventually finding life in color was more her passion. She is a self taught artist with a love for bright and vibrant colors. Her favorite topics to paint are galaxy and fantasy art.
All of her paintings are signed with the nickname Immy, which was given to her by a group of friends in junior high.
Her artwork became more than just a hobby when her business, Cryptic Charm Art, came to life in 2015. The idea is to have an affordable art shop, similar to a gallery, but with gift shop prices. Art should be made for everyone, not just the wealthy. Everything you see, including this very website, was designed by her.
Each dreamcatcher and painting has hours, sometimes years, of work put into them. They are handmade at her kitchen counter or her studio, usually watching her favorite movies. Which means lots of Coraline. Her husband and even her dog humor her creative spirit, supporting her every step of the way.
